Public presentation at St. John Fisher College: “Race, Responsibility and Leadership:  Blind Spots and Lessons”               Pre-registration requested.


This presentation will be an exploration of the topic of race, how it relates to us personally, and how it impacts our ability to make clear and informed decisions as leaders.  It will include opportunities for questions and challenges.

Tickets are $10 per person, with team discounts available.

Friday, December 8, 8:30AM to 12:00PM

Workshop at St. John Fisher College:  A Deeper Dive into Leadership and Race:  The Beliefs We Hold, the Decisions We Make"    Pre-registration required.

Using a series of pointed questions, Debby Irving will work with participants to build a graphic map of the groups people belong to because of social locations and historical roles in U.S. society.  We will identify and discuss our beliefs and assumptions about race-related access to rights, resources, representation, and respect, and how this history shows up in our organizational cultures.  Participants will leave with two powerful tools to analyze power dynamics and cultivate transformative cultures in their circles of influence.  Will include opportunities throughout for group discussion, questions and challenges.

The workshop will include a panel of experienced local leaders who will respond to Debby Irving's input.
